Work time at Grandpa's

 

I remember as a kid watching Dad and my Uncle Bud, Steve and Elmer all working at Grandpa Jenks's in Olathe, KS. As kids, Brad, Carissa and I would always be involved---trying to help somehow. Now---our kids are doing the same thing---watching me and Uncle Brad work at Grandpa's. Rawson and Vinny couldn't get enough of it. I think the girls were shopping!!

Here's Brad---teaching Vinny the finer techniques of fishing at Grandpa's. That's right--we teach them to fish---not just give them the fish!

I wonder what age the kids are and Dad's not continually untangling fishing line on kids fishing poles. Rebekah's the first one to get muddy, jump in puddles and sit in dirt. She digs the fishing at Grandpa's.

Couldn't resist putting this on the blog----thanks to the Grandparents for the $$'s to buy the gift. She's getting around on it really well now too. By the way, it even has a white basket with flowers (not pictured)--it was Cate's, not my idea to buy the basket!!!! :)
